What is BPM?

Business Process Management (BPM) is a management approach focused on automating rules, procedures and processes defining how electronic documents and information flow throughout the company. Via BPM these processes and procedures are laid down in workflows.

As such a document automatically and swiftly finds its way to the person responsible who can then validate it if necessary.
